Project: alphabets
Released: 2008 (inferred from series pattern)
Label: self-released

The earliest entry in the REMIX series. Archive-fragmentary — only one of
what was almost certainly a larger tracklist survives locally.

Confirmed tracks (from archive filenames)

  • 14 L3GOMUSEUM 3D.m4a (file mtime 2008-11-07; track position 14)

Notes

The L3GOMUSEUM 3D title follows the REMIX-series convention Colin’s other
compilations use: [ORIGINAL ARTIST]-[ORIGINAL TRACK] ([colin's mix name] mix)
— but here the “(mix)” suffix is missing and the original-artist prefix is
unclear, so the filename may be a shorthand or a work-in-progress title
rather than the compilation’s finalized track name. “L3GO MUSEUM 3D” reads
like a Colin coinage (LEGO + MUSEUM + 3D, in his usual absurdist-collision
style), which would mean this is a self-remix rather than a remix of
another artist — possible given that later REMIX releases include self-remix
entries (Snake Feathers on REMIX09, per series/remix.md).

Research gaps

  • Original artist (if any) unidentified.
  • Bandcamp page not located — either non-existent or not public.
  • Tracks 1–13 and 15+ are not in the archive. They may exist in other
alphabets session folders from 2008 under different names (per Colin’s
pattern of pre-compilation session staging), or they may be lost.
  • Release date inferred from the “08” in the title; no confirmation.

Relationship to fragmentary class

With this entry, the known fragmentary-remnant folders in the Alphabets
archive are:

  • unreleased fall 08 — track 04 only (Session 10)
  • pears092010 — track 04 only (Sept 2010)
  • DDR2_HAUNTED — track 02 only (May 2012; also has a stray .asd sidecar for track 06)
  • REMIX08 — track 14 only (Nov 2008)

The pattern appears validated: across 2008–2012, several alphabets session
folders survive as the singular “keep” take from a larger multi-track
session. A systematic fragmentary tag across all four would let future
passes treat them as a class.
