Experimental duo from Lawrence, Kansas. Their work uses an old
Clavinova, guitar pedals, and other effects, with improvisation, keyboards,
loops, and field recordings as primary materials. The European label
AMDISCS released a 100-copy limited-edition cassette of theirs titled
LVST; a later LP, Realiser, has a Discogs entry.

CVLTS is the track 17 artist on Colin’s REMIX10:
CVLTS-RADD PITT (clavinova_mic2 mix). The mix-name “clavinova_mic2”
matches CVLTS’s signature Clavinova-and-pedals working method exactly,
which is what closes the geography question — the connection is real
but not Denver. Colin’s archive folder
_Documentation/Music/alphabets/Cvlts remix/RADDPITTcvltsremix.mp3 is the
local copy of that track.

Remix direction: the canonical reading per
the REMIX series track-naming convention
([ORIGINAL ARTIST] – [ORIGINAL TRACK TITLE] (mix name)) is that Colin
remixed CVLTS’s track “RADD PITT”
as the “clavinova_mic2 mix” — the same
shape as the other identified REMIX10 tracks (Modern Witch, Thundercade,
Constellations). The mix-name “clavinova_mic2” is unusual for Colin
(typically he picks playful coinages like scary dipper or nine inch
witch
) — the more functional label may reflect that the source material
was already Clavinova-driven, so Colin tagged the mix by the mic / take
that produced it. The archive folder name Cvlts remix and file name
RADDPITTcvltsremix.mp3 are consistent with the convention.

Web-search status (2026-04-26, Session 14)

This entry resolves the long-standing CVLTS carry-forward (Sessions 12,
12b, 13). Prior public-web sweeps surfaced only a Bandcamp / Discogs
presence with no Denver provenance; today’s targeted sweep on CVLTS noise Colorado experimental music and "CVLTS" Denver Rhinoceropolis noise
returned The Pitch (Kansas City) coverage establishing the Lawrence
origin, plus the alphabets Bandcamp track page and AMDISCS / Soundohm
release pages. CVLTS is not Denver. Colin’s connection is one of his
out-of-scene remix relationships — analogous to Stephen Steinbrink (SF /
Phoenix) on REMIX09.
