The second SUNPOWER volume, released two weeks after the first. The track naming here is looser and more pop-cultural than Vol. 1: enya got punkd references both the musician Enya and the MTV show Punk’d — an image of new-age ambient pop being pranked. Power hunger as a closing track mirrors the series title — a reflexive gesture, making the theme of “power” the subject of the final song.
Rooster and other birds continue a subtle ornithological streak that runs through the POWER family (SUNPOWER’s hoops has avian associations; BELLPOWER’s two recalls bird calls in some readings). 2 clock echoes three clock from Vol. 1 — Colin noting the time again, slightly earlier in the night.
